About
Research Information is a university project built to make it easier for individuals and organizations to find research grants and scholarships. The platform centralizes relevant information and presents it through searchable, organized content.
The goal was to support academic and research users by making funding information easier to discover and maintain.
Inspiration
The idea came from a Government of India hackathon problem statement that asked for a one-stop website for research scholarships and grants. The project combined research, development, content organization, and usability.
Features
- Filter grants and scholarships using search and tags
- Pagination for better content organization
- Incremental Static Regeneration with monthly revalidation
- Advanced content management through Sanity CMS
Tech Stack
- Frontend: Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript
- Backend and content: Sanity CMS
What I Learned
This project helped me think through content-heavy product design, especially how search, tags, pagination, and long revalidation windows can make large information systems easier to maintain.
